          5. i/o – PETER GABRIEL (Real World/EMI/Republic) «After a years-worth of full moon releases, I’m very happy to see all these new songs back together on the good ship i/o and ready for their journey out into the world. » Για την ακρίβεια, τα δώδεκα τραγούδια που ακούσαμε στις Πανσελήνους του 2023, έχουν προϊστορία από το 1995, παράλληλα με άλλες δισκογραφικές δραστηριότητες του καλλιτέχνη. Αρχικά ήταν αδύνατο να διανοηθούμε ότι θα ηχογραφούσε ή θα είχε έτοιμα τραγούδια μετά από 21 χρόνια χωρίς κυκλοφορία νέου υλικού. Με τον Peter Gabriel έπαψα να ασχολούμαι μεταξύ του 1987-2022. Παρακολουθούσα από μακριά τις κυκλοφορίες του και νόμιζα ότι πλέον ο καιρός είχε παρέλθει. Ο Gabriel   έκανε τεχνικά άψογους δίσκους, δεν μπορούσες να αγνοήσεις το ταλέντο του αλλά ο ήχος του ήταν δεδομένος και πεπερασμένος. UK GRIMM – SLEAFORD MODS (Rough Trade) « I can feel the shit from your crisis rays spray up my back Because in England nobody can hear you scream You're just fucked, lads.   » Νοιώθω την υποχρέωση να ζητήσω συγγνώμη από το εκκεντρικό, απόλυτα προσηλωμένο και ευφυές ντουέτο από το  Nottingham . Δεν ήμουν ποτέ έτοιμος να συλλάβω την ευφυΐα αυτού του μινιμαλιστικού ποστ πανκ/μετά χιπ χοπ    ύφους τους γιατί πάντα εύρισκα λίγο υπερβολική την ερμηνεία του  Jason   Williamson   και δεν είχα κατανοήσει τον σοβαρό ρόλο του  Andrew   Fearn  που ενδεχομένως να ενέπνευσε και τον σεναριογράφο του  Ted   Lasso  για την στωική παράμετρο του χαρακτήρα του  coach   Beard . Τους είδα για πολύ λίγο σε ένα από τα  Plissken   festival  και έφυγα όπως ήρθα γιατί δεν μπορούσα να δεχτώ αυτό που γινόταν επι σκηνής. Μου φαινόταν απλοϊκό και γραφικό.
