13. Dreamer – NABIHAH IQBAL (Ninja Tune) «Nabihah Iqbal (born 22 April 1988) is an English musician, writer and broadcaster from London, England. A former legal professional, she has studied at both SOAS and The University of Cambridge. She began developing musical projects while working as a human rights lawyer. Early releases under Throwing Shade landed her a show with NTS Radio which she continues to this day where she grew her following with shows exploring music from across the globe. Her early style explored a mixture of experimental and more dancefloor oriented electronic styles including spoken word. Several of the album's eight tracks were debuted and workshopped in front of live audiences while touring in support of their debut album, Bright Green Field. » (wikipedia) Το δεύτερο άλμπουμ του σχήματος ονομάζεται ‘’ O Monolith ’’ και ο τίτλος επιδέχεται πολλές αναλύσεις για το τι μπορεί να σημαίνει. Ωστόσο ξεπερνώντας το λιτό, παράξενο και εν τέλει αξιομνημόνευτο εξώφυλλο βρισκόμαστε και πάλι στο νευρικό ηχητικό κόσμο του σχήματος που θέλει πλέον λιγότερα ακούσματα για να το περιδιαβούμε με άνεση. Ακούμε τα φωναχτά φωνητικά και τα no wave ειδή γυρίσματα να ελέγχουν το χώρο και τα ξεσπάσματα δεν προκαλούν αυτό το σεισμό του πρώτου άλμπουμ αλλά είναι πιο συντονισμένα και ελεγχόμενα.
